Arlington Well 4 Rehabilitation Project

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additionally, crews were required to conduct 24-hour construction operations on the dates listed below.

Project Objective
JEA is rehabilitating an existing potable water well located at 1660 Sprinkle Drive in the Arlington area. This well is one of over 141 active wells that are part of JEA’s regional water supply transmission system. This well will improve our system’s overall water availability and reliability, while continuing to provide a robust water supply throughout JEA’s service territory.

Construction Conditions
Construction activities are taking place on JEA’s property and within the City of Jacksonville’s rights-of-way, easements and roads. Please see the work area map below.
Tree Trimming and Vegetation Management
Proper vegetative clearance, including tree trimming is required around the well site. JEA tree crews receive additional training on how to maintain sensitive tree canopies and target new growth approaching JEA facilities.
