Baymeadows Circle East Sewer Repair Project

Normal work hours are Monday though Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Note: In some circumstances, weekends and extended hours may be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA has completed a project to replace a portion of a sanitary sewer main located near 8000 Baymeadows Circle East. Sewer main breaks can potentially cause sewer back-ups and roadway issues. For the safety of our crew, this work required the removal of ground water with pump systems prior to construction. These pump systems operated continuously during the repairs.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s streets, rights of way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, a portion of Baymeadows Circle East was closed and traffic was detoured around the construction area (see detour map below).

Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
