Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2019-07-31
Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. NOTE: In some circumstances, extended and weekend hours may be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA installed approximately 3,800 feet of 6-inch reclaimed water main along Baymeadows Road from Point Meadows Road to RG Skinner Boulevard. This project provided the existing Cabana Club apartment complex an alternative water source for irrigation. Expanding the usage of reclaimed water within the JEA service area allows JEA to reduce effluent discharge from JEA Wastewater Treatment Plants to the St. Johns River.
Construction Conditions
Construction will occur in the city’s rights of way, streets and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area began once the water main was installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction were returned to pre-construction condition.
