Beach Boulevard Sewer Lift Station Improvement Project

Project Objective
JEA has completed a project to upgrade our sanitary sewer lift station located at 9815 Beach Boulevard (adjacent to the shopping plaza). This station is responsible for pumping wastewater from your neighborhood to JEA’s nearby Arlington East Wastewater Treatment Facility. Failures to sanitary sewer lift stations can potentially lead to sewer back-ups.
Construction Conditions
For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily block access to the alleyway at Eve Drive West (behind the shopping plaza) during this project. Access to the alleyway at Barkley Road was not blocked during this time. We notified businesses and asked that they notify delivery drivers in advance so they could plan accordingly.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the necessary upgrades have been completed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
