Project Objective
JEA will soon begin a project in your neighborhood to upgrade the electric equipment that serves the Blue Lake Estates community. A contractor working for JEA (Heart Utilities, Inc.) will be installing new underground cabling that serves your home. This work will involve installation through underground boring of new PVC conduit followed by the pulling of the new electric cables. Once completed, this project will help to improve the overall quality and reliability of your electric service.
Construction Conditions
The majority of this work will take place within the Blue Lake Estates neighborhood (please refer to the work area map on the reverse side of this document). Construction will primarily occur in the City of Jacksonville rights of way, roads and easements.
Planned Power Outages
Customers will experience brief power outages as a result of this work. Customers will be notified prior to any prolonged (more than 1 hour) planned electric outages.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the new electric cabling has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
