NOTE: In some circumstances, night, weekend and extended hours may be necessary. JEA crews will not work on City of Jacksonville holidays.

Broom Street, Lem Turner Road, Washington Avenue
Project Objective
JEA upgraded a portion of the existing water main on Broom Street between Lem Turner Road and Washington Avenue. This project will provide improved system reliability.
Construction Conditions
Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements. There will be times when the road will have limited access while the water main is being installed. JEA will maintain the flow of traffic, although residents may experience some minor delays.
Water Outages
Some customers will experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers 48 hours prior to any planned outages. Residents may also experience a brief (10 to 15 minutes) outage while crews transfer customers from the old water service to the new water service.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
