Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2020-06-19
Monday through Friday, 7;00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*
*NOTE: In some circumstances, evening and weekend work may be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a portion of the sanitary sewer infrastructure on Camden Avenue. These pipes had reached the end of their service lives and needed to be proactively replaced to increase the reliability of the sewer system and to prevent any future sewer main breaks.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City of Jacksonville rights of way, roads and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the new sewer main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
Even Better Power Reliability
JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
