Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a failing sanitary sewer manhole on Century 21 Drive near Century Point Drive North. This work was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area began after the manhole has been replaced, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction was returned to its pre-construction condition.
