Note: In some circumstances, evening and weekend work hours may be required. Crews will not work on City of Jacksonville holidays (5/25, 7/3, 7/4, 9/7).

Project Objective
A contractor working for JEA (Hearts Utilities, Inc.) installed new conduit, cabling, transformers and PVC manholes in the Chimney Lakes community. This work will help to improve the overall quality and reliability of the electric service for the area.
Construction Conditions
Most of the construction activities occurred in the city right-of-way portions, usually closer to the sidewalk or road. Any grass, concrete, asphalt, or sprinklers damaged during the work is replaced after the completion of the project. Please see the project area map below.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the lines have been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
