Project Objective
JEA has completed a project to upgrade the electric equipment that serves the Cobblestone community. A contractor working for JEA (Heart Utilities, Inc.) installed new electric conduit, cables, transformers and manholes. This work involved installation through underground boring and pulling of the new cables. This project will help to improve the overall quality and reliability of electric service in the area.
Construction Conditions
Most of the construction activities occurred in the City of Jacksonville right-of-way portion, usually closer to the sidewalk or road.
