Collen Road Sewer Improvement Project

Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.*

*In some circumstances, extended hours and weekends may be required. 

JEA crews will be working in your area replacing a sanitary sewer line located near 13354 Collen Road. This work is necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.   

For the safety of our crews and the public, JEA will be required to temporarily close and detour traffic around the work area while this project is completed. Please see the project area map below.  

Construction will primarily occur in City of Jacksonville roads, rights-of-way and easements. 

Residents will be provided access and will be permitted to drive (with caution) within the work area. There may be times when driveways are temporarily blocked while crews are working in the immediate area. Crews will knock on doors to provide time to move vehicles prior to blocking any driveways. Please observe all construction signs, detours and general directions provided by the crews working on-site. 

For the safety of our crews, dewatering pumps to remove groundwater may be required prior to excavation. If required, these pump systems will operate continuously throughout the project. 

This work will not impact your normal JEA electric, water, or sewer service.
