Concord Street Sewer Improvement Project

Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a portion of sanitary sewer main near 3885 Concord Street. This section of sewer main had reached the end of its useful service life and was replaced to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins within 2-3 weeks after the lines have been installed, tested and cleared for use. Any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways, or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to their pre-construction condition.
Paving of the project area is currently scheduled for Friday, August 11, 2023*
