Cortez Road Water Improvement Project

Normal working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In some circumstances, extended hours and weekend work may be required.
NOTE: The initial drill work was completed in the evening to avoid high traffic periods on Cortez Road. Crews worked overnight hours beginning Wednesday evening, July 22nd to Thursday morning, July 23rd.
Project Objective
JEA crews replaced and upgraded a portion of the potable water line and individual service laterals on Cortez Road between Brookview Drive and Agave Road. Once completed, this project will provide improved water reliability to the area.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
