Creekwood Way Electric Improvement Project

Note: In some circumstances, evening and weekend work hours may be required. Crews will not work on JEA holidays (11/26/20 and 11/27/20). Completion date does not include restoration of the project area.
Project Objective
JEA has completed work on Creekwood Way North and Creekwood Way South in the Cunningham Creek Estates neighborhood to proactively upgrade the electric equipment that serves the area. A contractor working for JEA (Heart Utilities, Inc.) replaced a portion of the underground cables along Creekwood Way North and Creekwood Way South. This work involved utilizing underground directional drilling of new PVC conduit followed by the pulling of the new electric cables. This project will help to improve the overall quality and reliability of the electric service to the area.
Construction Conditions
Construction will primarily occur in the St. Johns County rights of way, roads and easements along Creekwood Way North and Creekwood Way South. Please refer to the work area map below. 
Planned Power Outages
Customers will experience brief power outages as a result of this work. Customers will be notified by crews prior to any prolonged (more than 1 hour) planned electric outages.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the new electric cabling has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
