Project Objective
JEA crews recently replaced a portion of sanitary sewer main near 10938 Crosswicks Road. Following this repair, a future repair of the sanitary sewer manhole at the intersection of Crosswicks Road and Green Glade Road will be required. This work is necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer mains and manholes can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily close and detour traffic near 10938 Crosswicks Road, and at the intersection of Crosswicks Road and Green Glade Road, while this work was completed.
Residents and/or businesses will have access to their driveways and will be permitted to drive (with caution) through the project area. Please observe all construction signs, detours and general directions provided by the crews working on-site. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by this construction work.
This work will not impact your normal JEA water, sewer and/or electric service.
Project Map
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the new sewer main and manhole have been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned pre-construction condition.
