Deercreek Club Road East Emergency Sewer Repair Project

Regular work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. NOTE: In some circumstances, night and weekend work hours may be necessary. 

During recent repairs to a failing sanitary sewer manhole at the intersection of Deercreek Club Road East and McLaurin Road North, JEA crews encountered another nearby sewer line in need of urgent repair. We completed repairs to the sewer line at 10064 Deercreek Club Road East near the intersection of Bishop Lake Road North.  Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause sewer back-ups and roadway issues. Restoration of the project area will follow.

Ground water was removed in order for crews to safely excavate around the area to make the necessary repairs. These pumps ran continuously throughout construction. For the safety of our crews and the general public, traffic was detoured around the work area.  

JEA will be inspecting the remaining sanitary sewer lines and manholes throughout the Deercreek community to determine if additional repairs to the system are required. We will provide updates to the community on the results of our investigation and communicate any future anticipated repairs accordingly. 

Construction will occur in the City’s streets, rights of way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, JEA will be required to temporarily close the intersection of Deercreek Club Road East and detour traffic around the construction. Please plan ahead for delays.

Residents that live within the work area will be permitted to drive with caution through the construction area to their homes. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite.
