Note: In some circumstances, extended hours and weekends may be necessary. Crews will not work on JEA holidays.
Project Objective
JEA replaced and upgraded a portion of the potable water lines on Dellwood Avenue, Melba Street (between Dellwood Avenue and Gilmore Street) and Luna Street (between Dellwood Avenue and Ernest Street). This work also included the installation of three (3) new fire hydrants. This project will increase water pressure and provide improved system reliability and fire protection to the area.
Construction Conditions
Work primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville roads, rights-of-way and easements.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area began once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction was returned to its pre-construction condition.
