Dennis Street, Sewald Street, Stockton Street
Project Objective
JEA crews will be replacing a 350 foot section of failing sanitary sewer main and 2 sewer manholes located on Dennis Street from Stockton Street to Sewald Street. This work will require the removal of ground water with a pump system prior to any pipe installation and the closure of Dennis Street.
Road Closure Information
JEA will be required to close Dennis Street from Stockton Street to Sewald Street to thru traffic while construction is in progress. These closures are necessary for the both the safety of the workers and the general public.
Residents or businesses that reside within the project boundaries will be provided access and are permitted to drive (with caution) within the construction area. There will be limited access to the areas around the immediate construction area. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been installed and the de-watering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
