Project Objective
JEA crews replaced and upgraded the existing water main on Doctor Roy Baker Street between 11th Street West and Doctor Roy Baker Way. This work also included the installation of a new fire hydrant. This project will provide increased water pressure, improved system reliability and enhanced fire protection to the area.
Construction Conditions
For the safety of our crews and the general public, temporary lane closures were required along the project route while the pipe was being installed.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area begins once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction are returned to pre-construction condition.
