Project Objective
JEA crews installed a new water tap to serve a new business in Murray Hill located at 1183 Edgewood Avenue South. This work will required JEA to temporarily close Edgewood Avenue South from Plymouth Street to Mayflower Street to vehicular thru traffic.
Temporary Road Closure
For the safety of our crews and the general public, JEA was required to temporarily detour traffic around Edgewood Avenue South from Plymouth Street to Mayflower Street from 9 p.m. November 6th to 6 a.m. November 7th.
Conditions During Construction
Construction will occur in the City’s streets, rights of way and easements. This work will not impact your normal JEA water, sewer or electric service.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the water tap has been installed, tested, cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
