Edison Avenue Emergency Sewer Repair Project

Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
NOTE: In some circumstances, and in some circumstances weekend and extended hours will be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA repaired a portion of a sanitary sewer main on Edison Avenue between Lime Street and Forest Street. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction will occur in the City’s street, rights of way and easements. Pump systems used to remove ground water will operate continuously during the repairs.
Temporary Road Closure
For the safety of our crews and the general public a portion of Edison Avenue between Lime Street and Forest Street will be temporarily closed for the duration of the project.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
