Ernest Street Sewer Improvement Project

A contractor working for JEA (Petticoat-Schmitt) replaced a portion of the aging sanitary sewer infrastructure that serves your area. These pipes had reached the end of their service lives and needed to be proactively replaced to increase the reliability of the sewer system and to prevent any future sewer main breaks. 

This work included the replacement of 360 linear feet of the existing sanitary sewer gravity main from 1267 Ernest Street to 720 Willow Branch Avenue.

Construction primarily occurred in the City of Jacksonville rights of way, roads and easements.
