Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. NOTE: Start and completion dates are highly subject to change and in some circumstances, weekends and extended hours may be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA completed work to upgrade a portion of the existing water main on Fairmont Street between Art Museum Drive and Spring Glen Road. This project will increase water pressure and provide improved system reliability. This work also included the installation of a new fire hydrant on Fairmont Street.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
