Project Objective
FDOT has completed interchange improvements at I-95 and Airport Road. These improvements at the interchange will extend from Airport Center drive to west of Duval Road. Upon completion, this project will provide much needed capacity improvements and improve traffic conditions through the roadway corridor.
JEA Infrastructure Impvovements
In an effort to resolve the conflicts between JEA’s existing utilities and the proposed roadway improvements, the utility reconstruction was performed by the Florida Department of Transporation’s Design/Build firm via the terms of our existing Inter-Local Agreement. JEA also adding new water and sewer force mains within the project limits to improve the reliability of the systems.
