Project Objective
Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is completing a project to improve Howell Drive bridge over the Ribault River.
JEA Infrastructure Improvements
In an effort to resolve the conflicts between JEA’s existing utilities and the proposed roadway improvements, the utility reconstruction work was performed by the Florida Department of Transporation’s Design/Build firm via the terms of our existing Inter-Local Agreement. JEA also added new water and sewer force mains within the project limits to improve the reliability of the systems.
