Project Objective

Beginning in spring 2018, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) began making roadway improvements to State Road 111 (Cassat Avenue) from Blanding Boulevard to Lenox Avenue. Upon completion, this project will provide much needed capacity improvements and improve traffic conditions through the roadway corridor.

JEA Infrastructure Improvements

In an effort to resolve the conflicts between JEA’s existing utilities and the proposed roadway improvements, the utility reconstruction work will be performed by the Florida Department of Transporation’s Design/Build firm via the terms of our existing Inter-Local Agreement. JEA will also be adding new water and sewer force mains within the project limits to improve the reliability of the systems.
