Floral Bluff Road Emergency Sewer Manhole Replacement Project

Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a failing sanitary sewer manhole located on Floral Bluff Road near University Boulevard North. Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City's streets, rights of way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily close and detour traffic on Floral Bluff Road between Almira Street and University Boulevard North and shift one lane of traffic on University Boulevard North near Floral Bluff Road. 
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer manhole has been replaced, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
