Glen Laura Road Sewer Manhole Repair Project

This project has been completed. Below is the information provided to customers prior to the project start date. 

JEA has been in your area working to replace a failing sanitary sewer manhole located near 1212 Glen Laura Road. Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues. JEA crews will be working as quickly and safely as possible to make the necessary repairs.

This manhole is approximately 13 feet deep and requires extensive de-watering to remove ground water prior to  the manhole replacement.  

Project Dates 

Estimated Completion Date: February 2017
The completion date is highly subject to change and does not include final restoration of the project area.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In some circumstances, night and weekend hours may be necessary.

Construction Conditions 

Construction will be completed in the City’s rights of way and easements. There will be times when your road will have limited access. JEA will maintain the flow of traffic, although residents may experience some minor delays. 

Restoration of Project Area

Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer manhole has been repaired and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, trees, grass, curb, or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
