Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2019-10-11
Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please note start and completion dates are highly subject to change and in some circumstances, evening and weekend work hours may be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA crews replaced three (3) failing sanitary sewer manholes located in the rear easement of Govern Lane. Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction will primarily occur in the City of Jacksonville rights of way, roads and easements. JEA crews had to complete some tree trimming and removals in order to build a road to access the manholes prior to crews performing this manhole replacement project.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the new sewer main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
Even Better Power Reliability
JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
