Hardee Street Sewer Improvement Project

Note: Start and completion dates are highly subject to change and in some circumstances, weekend and evening hours may be required. Completion date does not include final restoration of the project area.
Project Objective
JEA replaced a portion of a sanitary sewer main line that has reached the end of its service life located on Hardee Street between
Imeson Street and Woods Street. Sewer main breaks can potentially cause minor sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s streets, rights of way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, a portion of Hardee Street between Imeson Street and Woods Street and a portion of Prioleau Street between W. 2nd Street and W. 3rd Street was closed.
Road Closure and Detour
Residents will be permitted to drive with caution through the construction area. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer line has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project,
existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be restored.
