Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2018-12-07
NOTE: Start and completion dates are subject to change. In some circumstances, night, weekend and extended hours may be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA replaced the water main on Harlow Boulevard between Anvers Boulevard and Jammes Road. When completed, this project will increase water pressure and provide improved system reliability. This work also included the installation of two (2) new fire hydrants.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements.
Water Outages
Some customers will experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers 48 hours prior to any planned outages. Residents may also experience a brief (10 to 15 minutes) outage while crews transfer customers from the old water service to the new water service.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
Even Better Power Reliability
JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
