Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2021-04-30
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*
NOTE: In some circumstances, weekends and extended hours may be required.
Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a portion of failing sanitary sewer main on Hendricks Avenue between Landon Avenue and Lasalle Street. This repair was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the neighborhood. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area began after the new sewer main was installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
Even Better Power Reliability
JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
