Huntington Forest Boulevard Emergency Sewer Repair Project

Project Objective
JEA replaced a portion of a failing sanitary sewer main line located between 4144 and 4175 Huntington Forest Boulevard. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues
Construction Areas
Construction will occur in the City’s streets, rights of way and easements. A by-pass pump has been installed and will run continuously until the repair to the sewer line has been completed. This pump is
necessary to keep the sewage flowing through our system.
For the safety of our crew, this work will require the removal of ground water with pump systems prior to construction. These pump systems will operate continuously during the repairs.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer line has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be restored.
