Roads Affected
Project Objective
JEA crews have completed construction on a 15” sewer main at the intersection of Pearl Street North and Ivy Street. This work may require the removal of ground water with a pump system prior to any pipe installation.
Traffic Detours
JEA will be required to close a portion of Pearl Street North between Longbranch Boulevard and 41st Street West.
Travelling South on Pearl Street North:
Right on 41st Street West, left on Brentwood Avenue, left on Fern Street, Right on Notter Avenue, left on Long Branch Boulevard to Pearl Street North.
Travelling North on Pearl Street North:
Left on Long Branch Boulevard, right on Notter Avenue, left on Fern Street, Right on Brentwood Avenue, right on 41st Street West to Pearl Street North.
Conditions During Construction
Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way and easements. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite. We apologize in advance for delays caused by this work.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been installed and the dewatering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
