Project Objective
JEA crews repaired a portion of sanitary sewer line on Jammes Road near 103rd Street. The line had been damaged by a communications contractor working in the area. This emergency repair had to be completed to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves the neighborhood. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Please see the work area and detour maps below. Contractor paving crews will return at a later date to complete the final repair of the work area.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the sewer line has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
Even Better Power Reliability
JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
