Project Objective
A contractor working for JEA (Engineered Spray Solutions) completed a project to rehabilitate an aging sanitary sewer manhole on Kinlock Drive South. This manhole had to be proactively rehabilitated to ensure continued reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer manholes can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Work primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements.
Project Work Area Map
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the sewer repairs have been completed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned pre-construction condition.
Even Better Power Reliability
JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
