Knottingby Drive Sewer Improvement Project

Project Objective
JEA crews replaced a portion of failing sanitary sewer main line on Knottingby Drive near Tyne Court. This project will increase the reliability of the sewer system and help prevent future sewer main breaks. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements. 
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will typically begin 2-3 weeks after the new sewer main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
