Roads Affected
Project Objective
In conjunction with the Arlingwood Avenue Water Improvement Project, will be abandoning a 4” water main that has reached the end of its service life. This work will occur on Lamanto Avenue South from Arlingwood Avenue to Brookmont Avenue East.
This project will include the transfer of private individual water connection from the abandoned water main to the existing, larger water main. When completed, this project will increase area water pressure and provide better system reliability.
Construction Conditions
Construction will be done in the City’s rights of way and easements. There will be times when roads will have limited access while the water main is installed but the flow of traffic will be maintained.
Planned Water Outages
Some customers will experience minor interruptions to their water service. JEA will notify customers 48 hours prior to any planned outages. Residents may also experience a brief (10 to 15 minutes) outage while crews transfer homes from the old water service to the new water service
.Restoration of Project Area
Upon completion of the project, any existing grass, curb, swales, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its preconstruction condition.
