Locust Street Water Main Improvement Project

Project Objective
JEA crews replaced and upgraded the existing water main from the intersection of Rosselle Street and Locust Street to the dead end of Locust Street. JEA replaced four (4) existing individual water services on Locust Street.
Construction Conditions
For the safety of our crews and the general public, we were required to temporarily close and detour a portion of Rosselle Street near Locust Street while the work was being completed.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area begins approximately 2-3 will begin after the new water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
