Long Branch Boulevard Water Improvement Project
Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2021-06-18
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*
*NOTE: In some circumstances, extended hours and weekends may be required.
Project Objective
JEA replaced and upgraded a portion of the potable water line on Long Branch Boulevard between Notter Avenue and Perry Street. This work will also include the installation of one (1) new fire hydrant. This project will increase water pressure, provide improved system reliability and fire protection to the area.
Construction Conditions
Work took place primarily in the City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will typically begin 2-3 weeks after the new water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
Even Better Power Reliability
JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
