Anticipated Start Date: 2017-09-25
Anticipated End Date: 2017-10-20

This project has been completed. Below is the information provided to customers prior to the project start date.

Roads Affected

Greenridge Road, Lakewood Road, Mapleton Road, San Jose Boulevard

Project Objective

Crews are currently working to repair a failing manhole near the intersection of San Jose Boulevard and Greenridge Road. JEA will be evaluating other pipes and manholes in the area for possible rehabilitation or replacement in the future.

Conditions During Construction

Construction will occur in the City’s streets, rights-of-way and easements. For the safety of our crews and the general public, JEA will be required to close the intersection of San Jose Boulevard at Greenridge Road for the duration of the project. As this sewer line is very deep, removal of ground water with a pump system prior to the new sewer line installation will be required.

Detour Route

Local traffic traveling south along San Jose Boulevard will be detoured around the work area using Mapleton Road around to Morvenwood Road. Motorists traveling north along San Jose Boulevard will be detoured around the work area using Morvenwood Road around to Mapleton Road.

Restoration of the Project Area

Restoration of the project area will begin soon after the sanitary sewer line has been installed, cleared for use and the dewatering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
