Minerva Avenue Water Main Improvement Project

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Note: This project has been substantially completed. Restoration of the project area has been scheduled.
Project Objective
JEA has installed a new 6-inch water main on Minerva Avenue. This work also included the installation of two (2) new fire hydrants. This project will increase water pressure, and provide improved system reliability and fire protection.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
