Note: No lane closures from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to avoid high traffic periods. Start and Completion dates are subject to change and night and weekend work hours may be necessary.
Project Objective
JEA installed a new 8-inch and 12-inch reclaimed water main along Monument Road from Cancun Drive to Hidden Hills Road. When completed, this main will provide reclaimed water for irrigation purposes at the Hidden Hills Golf Course, Hidden Hills Community (The Valley) and for future development JEA's reclaimed water services so our aquifers remain sustainable for the future.
JEA’s reuse (reclaimed) water system expansion provides a dual benefit by reducing discharge to the River while offsetting additional groundwater withdrawals and saving precious potable water for drinking and personal use.
Restoration of Project Area and Paving
Restoration of the project area will begin soon after the pipes have been installed. Any existing asphalt, grass, curb, gutter, driveways, or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to their pre-construction condition.
