This project has been completed. Final restoration of the project area will begin approximately 2-3 weeks following construction.
Project Objective
JEA crews completed repairs to a failing sanitary sewer main on North Myrtle Avenue between 19th Street West and 16th Street West. Failures to sanitary sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
For the safety of our crews and the general public, JEA was required to temporarily close and detour N. Myrtle Avenue in both directions (north and southbound) while this work was completed.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
