Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2024-04-30
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Project Objective
JEA rehabilitated an existing potable water well at 713 Carlton Street. This well is one of over 141 active wells that are part of JEA’s regional water supply transmission system. This project will improve our system’s overall water availability and reliability, while continuing to provide a robust water supply system throughout JEA’s service territory.
A contractor working for JEA (Jacobs) rehabilitated and replaced the equipment that serves the well, which was followed by a period of evaluation and testing.
Construction Conditions
Construction activities took place on JEA’s property and within City of Jacksonville rights-of-way and easements.
