Project Objective
Over the next few months, JEA will be in your area installing a groundwater monitoring well located at 86142 Oak Tree Lane. This well is a requirement of JEA’s Consumptive Use Permit (CUP) with the St. John’s River Water Management District (SJRWMD).
The installation of this monitoring well will allow JEA to perform long-term monitoring of the water quality conditions of the Floridan aquifer and to provide the assurance that North Florida’s natural water resource is being protected.

Construction Conditions
Construction activities will consist of using a drill rig to install one monitoring well in the Lower Floridan Aquifer. There will be some noise and water discharge associated with the drilling activities. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience for these needed services.
