Oakwood Drive and Metz Street Water Main Improvement Project

NOTE: Start and completion dates are subject to change. JEA crews will not work on City of Jacksonville holidays.

Project Objective

JEA upgraded  a portion of the existing water main on Oakwood Drive at the corner of Oakwood Drive and Metz Street. When completed, this project will increase water pressure and provide improved system reliability. 

Construction Conditions

Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements. 

Restoration of Project Area

Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been  installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
