Estimated Dates & Work Schedule
Anticipated End Date: 2020-05-31
Regular work hours: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Project Objective
A contractor working for JEA (Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors, Inc.) upgraded the sanitary sewer pump station located at 4193 Oldfield Crossing Drive. This station is responsible for pumping wastewater from your neighborhood to JEA’s nearby Mandarin Wastewater Treatment Facility.
This project involved expanding the existing station by adding additional pumps and equipment, installation of a new concrete pad and replacement of the exterior fencing. This project will increase the reliability of our sanitary sewer system.
Construction Conditions
In order to complete this work, crews were required to install a temporary bypass piping system to ensure the proper flow of sewage to the nearby treatment facility during construction. Construction occurred in the City’s rights-of-way and easements.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once all construction activities have been completed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.

JEA's state-of-the-art technology identifies customers and neighborhoods in need of electric reliability improvements.
