Phoenix Avenue Water Main Improvement Project

Project Objective
A contractor working for JEA (Callaway Contracting, Inc.) replaced and upgraded a portion of the existing water main on Phoenix Avenue between 17th Street East and 18th Street East. This project will provide increased water pressure and provide improved system reliability.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in the City of Jacksonville of way, roads and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the new water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
