Roads Affected
Dancy Street, Pine Street, Van Wert Avenue
Project Objective
JEA crews will be replacing a 360 foot section of failing sanitary sewer main and one manhole on Pine Street. The sewer main will be replaced along Pine Street from Dancy Street to Van Wert Avenue. This work may require the removal of ground water with a pump system prior to any pipe installation.
Construction Conditions
Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way and easements. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite. We apologize in advance for delays caused by this work.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been installed and the dewatering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
